Volleyball Australia High Performance Program Review
In October 2010, Volleyball Australia (VA) committed to undertaking a comprehensive review of our High Performance Program. The Lonsdale
Group (TLG) has been contracted to undertake this review of our HPP with the aim of recommending the most effective systems and structures required to assist the sport to achieve podium finishes at World Championships and Olympic Games.
The review will be managed by a Steering Committee of “critical friends”. The Steering Committee’s role is to help ask and answer the difficult questions (hence the term ‘critical friends’), as well as being a resource able to value-add and/or validate the information, observations and recommendations. Our Steering Committee includes;
- Joan Perry – Chief Executive Officer, VA
- Adam Sachs – High Performance Manager, VA
- Riad Tayeh – Finance Director and Board Member, VA
- Rob Clement – Director - Organisational Capability Building, ASC
- David Crocker – General Manager – High Performance, Swimming Australia
- Nadine Cohen – Deputy GM - Sports Development Division, ASC
Final Report - May 2011
